Strolling Under the Twilit Sky: catching the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony live...c'est difficile T.T

the whole house ended up in McD to watch the opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics...we initially decided to go Farvis,but bcoz KY was ill, so we decided to eat at McD so tat she could at least have some porridge (bubur ayam McD,haha~~) who noe tat gal ended up eating chicken foldover and her sickness got worst =.=

the process of us watching the live telecast of the opening ceremony didnt went smotth AT ALL!!! the 1st thing we did once we stepped into McD is to assure tat they will air the opening ceremony there...so all the way long we're watching 811 hoping for the opening scene to pop up anytime after 8...but tat didnt happen and so we called upon the staff to change the channel...yet ltr on we found out tat the astro subscription in McD doesnt include the Olympics package (dey only got sports and music package)...so we cant find the channel 816...

so we'd decided to turn to the local channels...we thought tat 8tv has the live telecast,but again,we're wrong...so we decided to stay tuned for tv1,even though it would be half and hour later and we're so gonna miss the 1st half an hour...since we're already late for the 08:08:08 opening,so we dun mind anymore as long as we can watch it!!! but the staff told us they dun hav the channel 101...i almost burst out in foul language man,phew,tat was close!!! so we talked the staf into the matter,we told him tat since they got 8tv,dey muz hav tv1 too,bcoz those are in the basic packages...so the staff with the walkie-talkie inform the other person to change the channel...yet it's like dey duno how to use the decoder =.= kek sei ar~~finally,it's like every single soul present at the scene are counting down the channels together with the staff,and we're like STOP!!! when it reaches tv1,phew...

so we thought everything went well, den suddenly when the M'sian contingent is going to parade,suddenly,the tv changed channel!!! WTF!!! it's like we're waiting for the moment and dey ruined it!!! we know it's bcoz they already juz subscribed to the Olympics channels and dey try to turn to the new channel...but...it din end up well so we asked them to juz PLEASE turn bac to tv1...and so it goes on SMOOTH until the end,the stupid tv1 cut the final fireworks scene...cis...the marching in of the contingents part is reli a bit boring la,but stil ok lo,i pity the volunteers who are waving beside...dey muz be trully exhausted to be cheerleading for a continuos 1 hr and 15 min and waving for 204 countries...woohooo...you go girls!!!

but tat's not sumthin bad,tat allows us to send tat stubborn KY to hospital asap...she insisted on finishing the whole live telecast b4 she's willing to be sent to a doctor...it's reli sweet when we find out tat our male houssies are tailing our car to send KY to hospital when they can actually go home 1st...how nice of them^^MUAKZ~~

after she got treated...we went home and camwhore for a while as we'd purposedly dress ourselves up in the colour of the Fuwa!!! haha...lets's c the photos~~
